Southeast Community College is hosting the 10th Annual Cyber Security Conference on Sept. 30.

The event takes place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the gymnasium at SCC’s Lincoln Campus, 8800 O St. Check-in begins at 7:30 a.m. Space is limited. Registration deadline is Sept. 21.

The conference is designed for security administrators and IT professionals, including network administrators, system administrators and information security professionals. The conference is a partnership between SCC and the state of Nebraska.

Keynote speaker is Richard “Rick” Harris of the Department of Homeland Security. He provides strategic advice and support to the Office of Cybersecurity and Communications where he has participated in numerous cyber and critical infrastructure cyber policy development and implementation processes.
