There will be three appointments made to the Wildwood Board and three new Nebraska City Police Department officers will be administered their oath of office during Tuesday night’s Nebraska City City Council meeting at City Hall.
The council will also go through a long list of items on the agenda that evening as well. Here is Tuesday’s agenda items:
Appointing Eugene Lanning to the Wildwood Board; Appointing Pam Frana to the Wildwood Board; Appointing Brenda Baumann to the Wildwood Board; Administering the oath of office to new NCPD officer Tracy Sachs; Administering the oath of office to new NCPD officer Travis Rogman; Administering the oath of office to new NCPD officer Gerald Schumacher; Proclaiming the week of Sept. 13 through the 19 as National Assisted Living Week; Introducing new part-time Nebraska City Fire & Rescue paramedic Amanda Lewis; Introducing new Morton-James Library Director Rasmus Thoegersen; Conducting a public hearing to use $3,116 in LB 840 funds for the Kregel Windmill Factory Museum; Considering Kregel Windmill Factory Museum’s LB 840 application and Resolution No. 2678-15; Discussion about Occupation Tax Increase, Ordinance No. 2966-15; Discussion on the costs associated with county inspections; An update on the aquatic center construction project; Considering a request from Harvey Varenhorst to vacate portions of the right-of-way in the 400 blocks of 4th Rue and 5th Terrace; Considering the Wildwood Historic Center Board’s revised constitution; Considering the Board of Public Works’ recommendation of a renewable energy credit purchase and sale agreement between the City of Grand Island and the City of Nebraska City; Discussion and-or action on EMS collections; Considering the approval of Deborah R.
