J.C. Miller, age 86 of Sidney, IA; formerly of Hamburg, Farragut and Northboro, IA passed away on June 3, 2015 at the Ambassador in Sidney, Iowa.

J.C. Miller, age 86 of Sidney, IA; formerly of Hamburg, Farragut and Northboro, IA passed away on June 3, 2015 at the Ambassador in Sidney, Iowa.

 He was born on September 9, 1928, near Rock Port, MO; the son of Eddie and Nora (Brown) Miller and was the
 oldest of 13 children in the family.
 
 He was united in marriage to Bessie Lucille Strange on November 28, 1948 and the couple shared over 51 years of their lives together before Bessie’s death on March 5, 2000.

 J.C. served in the U.S. Army entering service in 1946.  He was a Welder by trade and owned and  operated a salvage yard for many years in the Northboro community.

 He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, other family and many friends.

 In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a son Larry Loftus, 12 siblings and his parents.

Funeral Services will be held Monday; June 8 at 10:30 a.m. at the Rash-Gude Funeral Home in  Hamburg, IA.   Burial will follow the services at High Creek Cemetery near Watson, MO with  complete military services Conducted by the Hamburg American Legion Post.

 The family will greet friends from 9:30 a.m. until service time on Monday at the Rash-Gude Funeral  Home In Hamburg.
