The Otoe County Commissioners met this morning for its bimonthly meeting.
During the 24-minute meeting, commissioners tackled the following agenda items:
Discussion and-or action with Otoe County Sheriff's Office deputy Nick Shimmel requesting permission to solicit bids for replacing cameras in the patrol vehicles,
Discussion and-or action to approve the plat for the HM Vogt Subdivision as requested by Harvey and Maureen Vogt,
Discussion and-or action to approve the plat for the Schroeder Hill Subdivision as requested by Bradley and Robin Berner,
Discussion and-or action to approve the plat for the Deer Run Subdivision as requested by James and Pamela Nemec,
Discussion and-or action to appoint a seventh member to the Otoe County Planning Commission,
Discussion and-or action to enter into an agreement with the Nebraska Department of Roads regarding fracture critical bridge inspections,
Discussion and-or action to accept bids for the sale of two Otoe County Roads Department surplus pickup trucks,
Discussion and-or action to make changes in pledged securities,
And discussion and-or action to approve a subgroup application with the National Association of Counties regarding Blue Cross, Blue Shield health and dental insurance,
Commissioners went into an executive session to discuss the Otoe County Courthouse security issues.
