Beatrice, Gretna and Waverly fared the best in the 18-hole tournament, and as a result scored state qualifying positions in finishing first, second and third.
The Orange had the top team score and the top individual score as the team shot 324 and senior Tyler Wagner was the lone golfer to break 80 on the day. He had a 75.
Syracuse-Dunbar-Avoca finished fourth in the team standings, one spot from qualifying. On the bright side, the Rockets had an individual state qualifier in Cameron Clark who rallied from a 49 on the front nine to pick up a 40 on the back, an overall 89, and a ninth place position. The top 10 individuals qualify for state.
Nebraska City was eighth with a 423.
There were 12 teams in the field.
