A traffic stop near the Highway 2, I-29 interchange on Aug. 24 led to an arrest for delivery of meth.

According to the Fremont County Sheriff's Office:

On August 24, 2014, at approximately 8 p.m., Deputies of the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office made a traffic stop of a vehicle at 210th Ave. and Highway 2.  The vehicle was occupied by Clinton Doiel and Darrel Wichman, both of Nebraska City. 

After an investigation was made at the scene, both parties were placed under arrest for suspicion of Delivery of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), under 5 grams.  It was also found that Doeil was in possession of drug paraphernalia and was operating the motor vehicle without a valid drivers license.  

Both men are currently being held in the Fremont County Jail in lieu of $50,000 cash bond.
