Irene May Foushee, 91, of Nebraska City died at Golden Living Center in Nebraska City on Jan. 11, 2012. She was born May 10, 1920 in Nebraska City to William and Elizabeth (Heuser) Beccard. She married Louis Foushee in 1969 in Chicago.


Irene May Foushee, 91, of Nebraska City died at Golden Living Center in Nebraska City on Jan. 11, 2012. She was born May 10, 1920 in Nebraska City to William and Elizabeth (Heuser) Beccard. She married Louis Foushee in 1969 in Chicago.

 

She is survived by sister Ruth Wurtele; nephew Dale Wurtele, Sr. and wife Bonnie; great nephews Dale Wurtele, Jr. and wife Lynn and Louis Wurtele and wife Gayle, all of Nebraska City; great niece Kay Pieper and husband Stan of Omaha; many other relatives and friends.

 

She was preceded by her husband in 1971.

 

She lived in Burlingame, Calif., and Chicago. She was a secretary for an airline. She was a former member of Daughters of the Nile. She enjoyed reading and traveling.

 

Private family services will be held at a later date.

 

Memorials are suggested to the donor’s choice.

 

There is no visitation.
