The Lourdes track teams competed at the Lewiston Invite on Tuesday, April 15, with the girls’ team scoring 44 points for a sixth-place finish in a 10-team field. The Knight boys’ team posted 22 team points.
Scoring medals for the Knight girls’ team were Lauren Benedict, second, high jump, 4’8”; Mikena Haag, third, 100 meters, 13.40; Brooklyn Borer, second, 100 meter hurdles, 17.39; fifth, 100 meters, 13.61; Mary Misner, fourth, 100 meter hurdles, 17.75; fourth, 300 meter hurdles, 54.71; Emily Borer, sixth, 100 meter hurdles, 19.10; Harper Rutt, sixth, triple jump, 31’2.5.” The 4×100 relay team was fourth, 56.23, while the 4×400 team was third, 4:42.61.
Top non-medal winning efforts were by Harper Rutt, 200 meters; Amelia Moody, 400 meters; Mia White, 800 meters; Kadence White, shot put; Lauren Benedict, discus; Lily Madison, long jump.
Scoring medals for the Knight boys’ team were Justus Kreifels, sixth, shot, 38’11”; fourth, discus, 120’6”; Simon Bruggeman, third, triple jump, 39’4.75”; and Dominic Schizas, fourth, long jump, 18’7.5.” The 4×100 meter relay team was third, 48.42, while the 4×400 team was sixth, 3:59.63.
Top non-medal winning efforts were by Blue Oggs, 100 meters; Tobias Poppleton, 200 meters, 110 meter hurdles; Stryder Meade, 400 meters; Nick Fedoris, 800 meters; Brady Schnitzer, 300 meter hurdles; Dominic Schizas, high jump.
