The Nebraska City Jaycees recently hosted its annual Summer Ball Awards at Steinhart Park recently. There were over two hundred kids who participated in this year’s season. In the Coach Pitch league, in the regular season: 9th Place went to Southard’s Auto Body while 8th Place went to Little Ted’s, Seventh Place was Burr Farms followed at 6th Place by GG Wellness. At 5th Place was Cargill. Fourth Place went to Knapp Roofing while 3rd Place went to Schoen’s Roofing. Second Place went to Commercial State Bank, and 1st Place was Paper Tiger Shredding. After the Coach Pitch Tournament, at the end of June, Cargill placed 3rd with Burr Farms at 2nd and Paper Tiger Shredding at 1st.
