The Nebraska City Eagles will host a meal for a free-will donation in support of an eight-year-old Nebraska City girl, Maeleigh McConnell who suffered a traumatic brain injury. The event is set from 4:30 to 8 p.m. on June 1.
There will also be a pair of raffles/
The first raffle is 18 holes of golf for a foursome at ArborLinks.
The prize includes golf fees, cart fees, caddie fees and driving range use with a total estimated value of $1,700.
The second raffle, a meat bundle from Fareway, includes ribeye steaks, T-bone steaks, B/W sirloins, Iowa pork chops and 10 pounds of ground beef and has a total value of $450. Tickets for the first raffle are one for $20 or three for $50.
Tickets for the second raffle are one for $5 or five for $20. Winners will be drawn at 8 p.m. on June 1 at the Eagles. You need not be present to win. Tickets can be purchased through Venmo @miracles_for_maeleigh. If you use Venmo, include your name, phone number and your raffle of interest.
