No. 1 Nebraska volleyball set for weekend of action
The No. 1 and unbeaten Huskers (6-0) will be back in action at home on Friday, Sept. 12 at 6 p.m. against Utah. TV coverage by FS1. The Nebraska City football team fell to 0-2 on the season after a 20-7 loss to Douglas County West at home on Friday, Sept. 5. Nebraska City was scheduled to play on Sept. 12 at home against Omaha Gross.
Knight VB plays dual, TRI and tourney
After opening the week with a victory over Fremont-Mills of Tabor, Iowa, at home, on Tuesday, Sept. 2, the Lourdes volleyball team played on Thursday, Sept. 4, in a triangular, and Saturday, Sept. 6, in a tournament.
Pioneer Golf
The Nebraska City girls’ golf team competed at the Waverly Invite at Crooked Creek and tied for third in the team standings with a 435. There were nine schools.
