August Yard of Month named by Tree City Garden Club
The Tree City Garden Club has named Herman and Myla Weber’s yard at 1525 10th St. as the August Yard of the Month.

No Limit Power hosts ribbon cutting, open house
Ann Kozal cut the ribbon on Aug. 19 to celebrate the grand opening of No Limit Power Nebraska City. Kozal and her husband, Travis, are the new owners of the business, and they celebrated with free rides in the Kawasaki Teryx and the test drives of the Kawasaki NAV, refreshments, and prize giveaways. Whispering Pines celebrates 20 years
Whispering Pines Bed and Breakfast celebrated its 20th anniversary with a weekend of special events, including a Saturday night pizza and margarita party and ribbon cutting on Aug. 23 that featured live music from Orion Walsh. Sunday’s special events included an anniversary brunch and live music from Chris Saub. Since 2005, Whispering Pines has evolved into a welcoming retreat renowned for its warm hospitality, thoughtful amenities, and meaningful connections—with guests, partners, and the broader community.
