Leadership Nebraska City introduced Class 21 at a reception at The Keeping Room on Aug. 21. Class members are, back row, from left, Cathy Moore, Jeff Lollmann, Lisa Walker, Taylor Gude; front row, from left, Lacey Garcia, Dana Ritchheart, Koryle Bassinger, and Pam Epp. Leadership Nebraska City is a curriculum-based program that aligns those qualities in our community with talented and engaged individuals who will lead it into tomorrow. Class 21 will begin its year of monthly meetings with a skills development training retreat. Other meeting topics will include business and industry; education; agriculture, energy, and environment; wellness and human services; local government and emergency services; state government; tourism; and communications.
Husker fans will have a new pre-game destination for home games at Memorial Stadium, beginning with the Sept. 6 home opener against Akron. The Cornhusker Kickoff presented by Bud Light will take place inside of the Hawks Championship Center, just outside of the Memorial Stadium gates.
Nebraska’s Dane Key was honored Wednesday morning, as he was named to the 2026 Senior Bowl Top 300 list.
