A nine-run fourth inning delivered Nebraska City’s fifth win of the season in action against Platte Valley on Friday, April 12.The Pioneers finished with 15 hits on the game and won 10-4.
Lourdes runs at Lewiston Invite
Lourdes track and field athletes were in action on April 9 at the Lewiston Invite in Pawnee City with the girls’ team picking up 39 team points and a seventh-place finish.Scoring medals for the Knight girls’ team were Jenna Box, second, 300-meter hurdles, 50.99; Lily Madison, second, 800, 2:37.36; Mary Mizner, fourth, 300-meter hurdles, 54.75; Izzy Fulton, fourth, 200, 29.06; and Mikena Haag, sixth, 200, 29.65.The Knight 4x100 team finished second in 54.27 and the 4x400 team finished third in 4:29.85.On the boys’ side, two relay teams had sixth place finishes.
