Twenty-three years ago, the Franciscan Sisters of the Sorrowful Mother joined the Nebraska City community and set up their motherhouse on 4th Corso. Now, the sisters are welcoming visitors to their new motherhouse and Hidden Manna Retreat Center at 347 N. 62nd Rd., a project that broke ground in September 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic.
