Wildwood celebrates Heirloom Christmas 2022

On Sunday, Dec. 4, the Wildwood Period House hosted “Heirloom Christmas 2022,” an opportunity for visitors to tour the house for free, hear Christmas carols played by Angela McLean on the 1883 Steinway piano, and enjoy sweet treats in the Ware Tea Room for a small fee. The Wildwood Historic Center, 420 Steinhart Park Rd., will reopen for the 2023 season on Arbor Day Weekend (April 28 to 30).

SENCA Weatherization focuses on Energy Savings throughout SE Nebraska

SENCA hosted an Open House last month at the Cass County SENCA Office in Plattsmouth. The event was held from 10:00 a.m. until noon and focused on Energy Savings. In addition to SENCA Weatherization staff, representatives from Black Hills Energy, Nebraska Public Power District and Omaha Public Power District were available to provide helpful information and answer questions.
