Gloria Glover cut the ribbon on Friday, Aug. 23, 2019, to celebrate the completion of the first phase of renovation at the Nebraska City Veterans Memorial Building Project. Thanks to a grant from the Paul, John, Anton and Doris Wirth Foundation, Pella installed new doors and windows on the building, which will be open for tours next week in honor of its restoration being completed and Veterans Day.

Each year, communities across the country recognize October 30th as National Weatherization Day. Weatherization helps households save energy, improve the health and safety of their home, while supporting local jobs and small businesses. Weatherization is federally funded and managed by the U.S. Department of Energy.
