The Peru State women's basketball cruised to a 40-point win over Ozark Christian College 97-57 Friday night. The Bobcats improve to 4-2 overall on the year. Ozark Christian falls to 1-2 on the season.

The Board of Trustees of the Nebraska State Colleges approved two new graduate degree programs for Peru State College. The two new programs are included as focus areas in the master of science in organizational management (MSOM) degree: strategic leadership and communication, and healthcare and administration.
On November 5th, the Nebraska City Veterans Memorial Building Project celebrated its accomplishments with its 1st Annual Gala. The Annual Gala was established to acknowledge the many donors and volunteers and to raise funds to ensure sustainability long into the future.
On Nov. 21, Governor Pete Ricketts and the Nebraska State Patrol (NSP) recognized Frank Axiotes of Elkhorn with the Carnegie Medal, awarded by the Carnegie Hero Fund Commission. The Carnegie Medal is North America’s highest honor for civilian heroism.
