MJPL present two Otoe County history programs during AppleJack

The Morton-James Public Library hosted two unique programs on Otoe County history during the first weekend of AppleJack. The first recounted the experiences of a pioneer homesteader who outlived her husband and six of their 13 children, while the second looked at the life of a successful businessman who helped promote Nebraska City’s Arbor Day celebrations during the holiday’s early years.
