Concordia slips past NC Seniors
A four-run seventh inning allowed Concordia to rally past the Nebraska City Modern Real Estate Seniors, 5-4, on Friday. Nebraska City finished with four runs on six hits and had three errors.

Nebraska City 18s softball
The Nebraska City 18s softball team scored back-toback dominant wins over the Cass County Wildcats on Monday to take its overall record to 21-3 for the summer season. Scores were 12-1 and 8-0. The team has two tournament victories to go along with its great record.
Dilley, Zoller win Otoe Cornhole tourney
Gabe Dilley and Logan Zoller (aka “the young guns”) were doubles champions of the Second Annual Cornhole Tournament in Otoe Saturday, June 4. When the rain cleared, there were 24 teams in the tournament competing for the $500 first place prize. All together around 100 people attended to support the fundraiser.

UNL Wheat Plot Tour scheduled for June 9

Peru State College grants master’s degrees to 82 students
At its recent commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 7, 2022, Peru State College and its President, Dr. Michael Evans, granted master’s degrees to 82 individuals, including two Nebraska City residents.
