Wrong Number!

The story that used to make the rounds about small towns is that you could get a wrong phone number and not even know the person that answered – and still talk for an hour! The song originally was penned as a classroom greeting song titled "Good Morning to All," written by sisters Mildred J. Hill and Patty Smith Hill. Wildwood Park site of annual NC picnic

Wildwood Park was the site of the fourth annual Nebraska City Community Picnic on Sunday afternoon, June 12. Shredded beef sandwiches, chips, drinks, and cookies were on the menu, and residents could sit and visit with neighbors or make new friends while listening to the Latin fusion sounds of Jarana, a four-piece band from Lincoln. This year's sidewalk art project was "Wings on Your Feet," in which shoe tracings were tranformed into butterflies. Sgt. Chris Richardson of the Nebraska City Police Department and K-9 Officer Mack were also on hand to meet picnic attendees and answer questions about what a K-9 officer does on duty.
