These words are more than that though. They are my statement of faith. They are my narrative. They are my identity. My resolve. I was created to create. I can do nothing else. Telling me I have to stop creating is like telling me to stop breathing. I cannot live the life I was meant for without it! My creativity was on hold for many years. But No More!”

Kropp Charitable Foundation scholarship winners named

The Kropp Charitable Foundation has announced that two scholarships have been awarded to two students from Nebraska City in 2022. The Foundation has received its funding from the estates of the late Campbell Kropp of Nebraska City and his sister, Dorothea Kropp. The Foundation also supports many other local projects through the awarding of Grants.

Nebraska City athletes took to the track for the Trailblazer Conference meet on Tuesday at Plattsmouth High School. Earning individual medals for the boys’ team were Mason Houghton, second, 1600, 4:51.05, and third 3200, 10:35.28; Alex Rico, third, 800, 2:10.77, and fifth, 3200, 11:09.47; and MJ Nelson, fifth, 100, 11.67.
