Wayfare Foods offers plant-based food products from Nebraska City facility
Wayfare Foods is all in for Nebraska City. Rick Achtziger, plant manager for Wayfare Foods of Nebraska City, told the Nebraska City Rotary Club that the company, which took over the former Diversified Foods plant in Nebraska City in March 2020, would like to expand the company's workforce from 30 to perhaps 300 and would like to expand operations into the two-thirds of the plant that is not currently in use.
