The medicinal quality of laughter

Laughter may indeed be the best medicine, or at least a highly effective one. According to a 2010 study published in the journal Alternative Therapies In Health and Medicine, laughter has shown physiological, psychological, social, spiritual, and quality-of-life benefits. Although authors of the study noted the need for more data, they concluded that laughter has positive and quantifiable effects on certain aspects of health.

UNL fall 2021 dean’s list
