Chadron State College has announced the names of 665 students who qualified for the institution’s fall 2021 academic honors lists. The President’s List contains 324 students with a 4.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale.
Laura Rachel Stehlik has been named to the fall 2021 dean’s list at Mount Marty University in Yankton, S.D. Dean’s list students are defined as those full-time undergraduate students completing a full-time load of graded course work with a minimum term grade point average of 3.5.

“Brown Bag with the Birds” is a free event that takes place during the noon hour Fridays through Feb. 25 at the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center located on Highway 2, just west of the Missouri River bridge in Nebraska City.
Members of the Nebraska City High School speech team competed at the Millard North speech meet on Jan. 8. Isabelle Bare qualified for the honors finals at the meet and placed 2nd in her finals, or 8th overall, for the meet. Bare was the only medalist this week, and this meet contained a majority of Class A schools along with some out-of-state competition from South Dakota and Iowa. The team was scheduled to compete at the Raymond Central speech meet this week.
