Conestoga threes, fourth quarter run just enough against NC boys
A trio of second quarter three-pointers by Conestoga tied the action at half against the Nebraska City boys’ basketball team and the Cougars had a 6-0 fourth quarter run including 4-of-4 at the line to extend its lead from four to 10 at 54-44 before closing out a 58-47 win on Tuesday, Jan. 11.

A three-point shot by Malayna Madsen beat the second quarter buzzer and had the Pioneers trailing by just five points on the road at Conestoga on Tuesday, Jan. 11, but the Cougars increased their lead to eight by the end of three quarters and pulled away for a 43-24 win.
