The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission, in cooperation with Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing and the Cornhusker Fly Fishing Club, is sponsoring a fly rod building class for beginners this winter. The class will be held six consecutive Wednesdays at 6 p.m.

Although I am fairly organized most of the time, the last few years have been a challenge for my organizational skills: three moves in three years and the consolidation of multiple storage units into a single location have left me a bit muddled in my ability to find things.
Work will continue on the Missouri River bridge on Highway 2 for the next 10 to 12 weeks, depending on the weather, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation. NDOT Project Manager Mike Habegger said that most of the expansion joint repairs on the bridge’s exterior is complete, but work continues on its interior.
