Holiday Concert

Nebraska City High School musicians were featured in a Christmas concert on Sunday, Dec. 5. Included were the Varsity Singers, the NCHS band, the Harmonia singers, the Expressions, the NCHS jazz band, the City Singers, a group of guitarists, and a percussion ensemble. NCHS Varsity Singers. Davis’ Dispatches with Julie Davis

The conversations bring together a random group of Nebraska Citians for an hour or so to talk about whatever is on their minds.

HOT TOPICS—YOUTH SPORTS COMPLEX

Pictured is the current home for Nebraska City youth soccer at Red Fox Run. Plans are progressing for a new home for youth soccer and other youth sports at the Nebraska City Sports Complex. Nebraska City Tourism and Commerce Inc., has announced that the new Nebraska City Sports Complex will be the Wednesday, Dec. 8, Hot Topics discussion. Join NCTC and local and area business owners, managers, and residents as we hear from Patrick Wehling and Doug Friedli as they tell us about the plans for the new Nebraska City Sports Complex. They will have drawings to present and a presentation on the fund-raising efforts to be kicked off this month. Hot Topics is a public forum held from 8 to 9 a.m. on the second Wednesday of each month.
