Once-logged coastal land set to be sold to save redwoods

LOS ANGELES – A conservation group plans to purchase a scenic stretch of the Lost Coast in remote Northern California to save it from logging and preserve it for public use. Save the Redwoods League planned to announce Thursday that it’s agreed to purchase the historic DeVilbiss Ranch timberlands for $37 million if it can raise the money by the end of the year.

NSP Husker Gameday stats revealed

The stats are in and troopers with the Nebraska State Patrol took nearly 50 impaired drivers off� the road during enforcement eff�orts surrounding Husker football gamedays this season. The annual eff�ort is designed to assist with traffi�c fl�ow and roadway safety with thousands of fans traveling across the state to Lincoln for Husker football games.
