Richard Vlach of the Nemaha County Emergency Management office reports a slight breech in the federal flood levy at Brownville, Neb., at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday.

He said the small amount of water going over the levy is not expected to be a serious problem because the river is at its crest and water levels are decreasing.

The crest of 41.9 feet was reported at 8:45 a.m. The record high is 44.3 feet.
