Early shots narrowly missed the mark and No. 1 seed Gretna posted three first half goals on the way to a 5-0 win over the Pioneer boys’ soccer team in first round Eastern Midlands Conference tourney action Tuesday night.
District tourney assignments were released earlier this week and the Pioneers, seeded No. 5, will open the tourney on the road against Platteview, No. 4 at 5 p.m. May 4 at Plattsmouth.
