Nebraska City, Neb. -

No one scored a 300 game during Thursday afternoon action at Farbke Lanes.

No one cared.

What did happen was more important than a collection of strikes or spares.

For nine Nebraska City and Syracuse Special Olympic bowlers, the games played did more than simply provide a chance to compete.

The Thursday bowling session was a chance to socialize, to improve, and to continue to push the boundaries for what’s possible.

No one can attest to that more than Sioux Baumgartner, a Cook resident and organizer for the group.
