The Nebraska City boys' basketball team dropped a district decision to Waverly Saturday at Lincoln High School.

Waverly advanced it record to 9-11 and moved on to a Monday clash with No. 1 seed Lincoln Pius X. With the loss, the Pioneers wrapped up their season at 2-17.

Also playing on Monday will be No. 2 seed Beatrice and No. 3 seed Norris. Monday winners will play Tuesday night for a berth in the state tournament.
