Volleyball wins one of two

Hamburg topped Clarinda Academy at home and fell at Villisca during volleyball action last week. The results put Hamburg’s record at 3-8 for the season.

Hamburg was scheduled to return to action for the start of the Corner Conference tournament on Monday. The team will host Fairfax at 5:30 p.m. on Oct. 13 and travel for matches at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 14 at Farragut and at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 16 at East Mills.
