The Husker football team welcomed fans to Memorial Stadium Saturday night for the annual Nebraska Football Fan Day presented by U.S. Cellular.

A crowd of approximately 8,000 turned out on a picturesque summer evening, as the 2018 Huskers and coaching staff signed autographs and posed with fans for two hours to complete the second full week of fall camp.

Fans also had the opportunity to pick up the 2018 football season posters released tonight, meet the Husker spirit squad and get information and download the new Huskers app to get ready for the season opener in two weeks against Akron.

Fan Day capped a busy Saturday, as the Big Ten Network spent the morning with the Huskers as part of its preseason tour. The one-hour show, which began airing Saturday afternoon with Dave Revsine, Howard Griffith and Gerry DiNardo, includes video from Saturday’s practice, sit-down interviews with Coach Scott Frost, coordinators Erik Chinander and Troy Walters as well as Stanley Morgan Jr. and Mick Stoltenberg. In addition, other players are featured in taped segments.

The show will re-air on Big Ten Network beginning this evening and will also air most of Sunday morning. Check the BTN Schedule link for additional air times.

The Huskers will take Sunday off before resuming Monday, which is also the first day of fall semester classes at Nebraska.
