The Pioneers four game winning streak came to end despite Jordan Williams drilling a three run home run in the first inning, but unfortunately Nebraska City lost 19-3 to Bennington on Friday, April, 27.

Bennington pounded out 19 hits in this contest.


The Badgers took a 2-0 lead in the first inning.  In the bottom half of the first, Garrett Bassinger reached on an error and Trent Fahey singled.  Williams hit a fast ball that carried out of the park in left center field and the Pioneers were on top 3-2.


Nebraska City was still in reach as they were trailing 6-3 in the fourth inning.
The sixth inning wasn’t kind to the Pioneers as the Badgers scored 13 runs as Jacob Wageman hit a grand slam that increased the score to 10-3.  Bennington added nine more runs and won 19-3 in six innings of play.
