Members of 12 Nebraska City choirs united to sing Silent Night and Joy to the World at the conclusion of the 30th annual Advent Recital, held Sunday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

Melissa Turner narrated the recital, which featured choirs from nine churches, plus the Nebraska City Girls Choir, Belles-A-Peelin’ and Apple Corps Men’s Barbershop Chorus.

Churches participating were Bethel United Church of Christ, First Presbyterian Church, St. Benedict’s Catholic, First Christian Church, St. Mary’s Catholic, First Evangelical Lutheran and First United Methodist.
