Nebraska City Tourism and Commerce launched the shopping rewards program Nov. 20 with a Where in the World is Rose Ralstin event at the Nelson House and Wildwood Historic Home.

NCTC staff joined Gail Wurtele in Victorian costumes made by Margo Blobaum to greet guests. Tammy Partsch played Christmas music on the piano at Wildwood.

The city’s Christmas events  will continue in Nebraska City with the Santa in the  City on Dec. 11, beginning with a cookie walk at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

Santa Claus will be available for photographs at the Farmers Bank from 9 to 11 a.m. and at the Factory Stores of America Mall from 1 to 3 p.m.
