Notice has been received of the death of Richard Lamore Radley. He was born April 16, 1934 in Pueblo, Colo., son of the late Walter LeRoy and Sarah Anderson Radley.
He attended Centennial High School, Pueblo, and graduated with advanced degrees from Western State College and Colorado College. Richard was a teacher and elementary school principal in Pueblo and Canon City, Colo., ending his educational career in the position of assistant to the superintendent of schools in Pueblo.
His professional and civic memberships include N.E.A., C.E.A., United Methodist Church, Salvation Army Board of Directors, West Park Volunteer Fire Department volunteer, president of the West Park Board of Directors, A.Q.H.A., Pueblo Zoological Society, Sangre de Cristo Arts and Conference Center, Denver Museum of Nature and Science, Medicine Horse Program, Botanic Gardens, and Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities.
He is survived by wife JoAnn Wilhelm Radley; children Stephen Carl Radley and wife Jacqueline Marie of Parker, Colo., and Lisa Louise Kassel and husband Chris Eugene of Broomfield, Colo.; and grandchildren Trevor Richard Radley, Sarah Jeanette Kassel and Anna Christine Kassel.
Visitation is Friday, June 18, 2-7 p.m. at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel in Thornton, Colo.
Funeral service was June 19, at Nothglenn United Methodist Church, Northglenn, Colo.
Private Interment for family only will be at Fort Logan National Cemetery at a later date.
