Judith Evelyn (Teut) Glover of South Sioux City, Neb., died Thursday, Jan. 14, 2010 after a courageous battle against breast cancer. She was born on June 10, 1944 in Ute, Iowa, to Herbert and Arlene (Christiansen) Teut. 

She was baptized at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Soldier Township, Charter Oak and confirmed at St. Luke, Ricketts Lutheran Church.  She graduated from Schleswig Community Schools in 1962.  She graduated from the Lutheran School of Nursing in 1966, and received a B.S. from Briar Cliff College.  She worked at Lutheran Hospital, St. Luke’s Hospital and finally at the Iowa Department of Public Health as a disaster preparedness coordinator.  She married Fred Glover on July 10, 1981 at the Rose Garden in Sioux City, Iowa.

She was a member of First Lutheran Church in South Sioux City, Neb.

She especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Fred Glover of South Sioux City son Bret of Omaha; daughter Nichole at home in South Sioux City; mother Arlene Teut of Mapleton, Iowa; sister Nancy Bielenberg of Schleswig, Iowa; brothers David Teut of Brainerd, Minn., and Gary Teut of Danbury, Iowa; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 18, 2010 at First Lutheran Church in South Sioux City with Rev. Jerry Gilbreath officiating.  Burial will be in Wyuka Cemetery in Nebraska City with Pastor Dan Cilleson officiating.

The Mohr Funeral Home in South Sioux City was in charge of arrangements.
