Anna Louise (Eisenhauer) Watermeier, 95, of Syracuse, died at the Good Samaritan Society - Syracuse July 30, 2010. She was born Aug. 23, 1914 in Burr to Herman and Caroline (Bader) Eisenhauer. She married Elmer “Dutch” Watermeier in Burr on Feb. 12, 1936.

She is survived by daughter Kay and husband John Bremer; daughter-in-law Janice Beethe of Burr; granddaughters Jane and husband Chuck Hart of Waverly, Cindy and husband Kirk Kastens of LaVista, Lori and husband Jess Kirchhoff of Syracuse, and Lisa Watermeier of Burr; grandson Scott Watermeier of Burr; four step-grandchildren; great-grandchildren Samantha Hart, Olivia, Katherine and Jack Kastens, Hailey and Ryan Kirchhoff; and eight step-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded by her husband in 2000, son Steve, son-in-law Ralph Miesbach and granddaughter Nancy Miesbach.

She was a farmwife and member of Ladies Aid and Help Each Other Club. She was a church quilter. She and her husband were Germanfest king and queen.

Funeral service is Monday, Aug. 2, at 10:30 a.m. at Hope Lutheran Church in Burr with Rev. Dressen officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.

Pallbearers are Scott Watermeier, Chuck Hart, Kirk Kastens, Jess Kirchhoff, Ron Watermeier and Dwight Eisenhauer.

Memorials are suggested to Hope Lutheran Church, Good Samaritan Society - Syracuse or the family’s choice.

Visitation is Saturday, July 31, noon to 9 p.m. and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. with family greeting friends from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
