Funeral services for Doug Moser, age 67, of Syracuse was to be 10:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 31, 2018, at Faith United Church in Creighton.
Reverend Bev Hieb will officiate with burial at a later date.
Visitation was to be Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Brockhaus Funeral Home in Creighton.
Doug died Sunday, Aug. 26, 2018, at CHI Health St. Elizabeth in Lincoln.
Douglas Joseph Moser, son of Joseph and Lorraine Moser, was born June 6, 1951, at Osmond.
He attended Creighton High School in Creighton. Doug married Mary Wagner on Aug. 6, 2011. He was blessed with four children, Gina, Troy, Kim, and Chelsi.
Throughout his lifetime Doug lived and worked in Creighton, where he spent over 30 years with NCPPD. Doug later moved to Syracuse where he farmed with a friend.
He was a member of Syracuse United Methodist Church where he served on the Building Committee. Doug also served on the United Methodist Church Council in Creighton.
He was a former City of Creighton City Council member.
Doug is survived by his wife, Mary Moser of Syracuse; children, Gina (Roger) Schwindt of Syracuse, Troy (Sara) Moser of Tekamah, Kim (Dan) Bokamper of Syracuse, and Chelsi (Nate) Pehrson of Grand Island; ten grandchildren, Shelby Schroder, Tyler Schwindt, Paige Pehrson, Sadie Pehrson, Skyler Pehrson, Allie Bokamper, Griffin Bokamper, Ashley Moser, Megan Moser, and Sierra Sommer; one great-grandchild, Ryker Schroder; and sisters, Lois Moser and Janet Moser both of Plainview.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Lorraine Moser; and his brother, Steve Moser.
