Cecelia M. Steckly, 88, Beaver Crossing, died Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at Milford.  Cecelia was born Feb. 5, 1930 at Percival, Iowa, to Richard and Ossa (Coster) Moyer and attended Percival Public School, graduating in 1947.  Cecelia was united in marriage to Gerald Steckly in Nebraska City.  
Their first home was in Nebraska City, moving to Lincoln in 1959.  For more than 30 years, she worked as a meat wrapper at Hinky Dinky and Econofoods in Lincoln.  In April of 1974, they moved to Beaver Crossing.  Cecelia enjoyed working on the family history.  She loved raising livestock and other animals with Gerald.   She was a member of the Beaver Crossing American Legion Auxiliary.
She spent many happy hours riding with Gerald in his “little” car.

A funeral Service was to be at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, May 8 at Great Plains Community Church in Goehner, Pastor Galen Skinner.  Burial was to be at Pleasant View Cemetery, rural Milford.  Visitation was to be Monday, 1-8 p.m. at Lauber-Moore Funeral Home with family receiving relatives and friends, 6-8 p.m.  Viewing was also one hour prior to the service at church.  Memorials directed in care of family.  Arrangements by Lauber-Moore Funeral Home, Friend and Milford.
