Pairidine L. Crum, 92 of Syracuse, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 18, 2018, at Bryan East hospital in Lincoln. She was born on Feb. 25, 1925, to Roy and Bertha (Bahr) Thrapp in Glenwood, Iowa.
She married Clyde Crum on Oct. 25, 1942, in Rockport, Mo.
She owned and operated Pete’s Café in Syracuse with Clyde.
Pairidine was an active member at Luther Memorial Lutheran Church and belonged to WELCA.
She also was a member of the VFW Auxiliary and Syracuse Hospital Aux.
Paridine is survived by her Sons: Dwayne (Louise) Crum of Austin, Indiana, Terry (Patricia) Crum of Omaha; 9 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren and 14 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two infant children, grandsons: Leroy Crum, Tony Crum, Michael Crum, brother: Donald Thrapp and sister: Phyllis Pendleton.
Funeral services were to be held on Monday, Jan. 22 at 10:30 a.m. at Luther Memorial Lutheran Church in Syracuse. Burial was to be at Park Hill cemetery.
Visitation was to be held on Sunday, Jan. 21 from 1 p.m. until 8 p.m. with family greeting friends from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home in Syracuse. Memorials are suggested to Luther Memorial Lutheran Church.
