Raechel Marie Huntley, age 17, of Sidney, formerly of Hamburg, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 12, 2017, at the Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, 10 days after giving birth to a baby girl, Natalee Rae-Lyn Marie Booher.  
Natalee was born on Oct. 2, 2017, to Raechel Huntley and Jeremy Booher.  She was called to be an angel of God on Oct. 7, 2017.
Raechel Marie Huntley was born on Oct. 17, 1999, in Council Bluffs to RaeAnn Huntley and Tom Holcomb. She attended school in both Hamburg and Shenandoah, and was to graduate from Shenandoah High School in May.
She worked at several businesses in Hamburg, and most recently at the Wendy’s in Percival.
Raechel and Natalee are survived by Raechel’s boyfriend and Natalee’s father, Jeremy Booher of Sidney. Other survivors include: Raechel’s mother, Rae Ann Huntley of Shenandoah; father, Tom Holcomb of Essex; brothers: Dillion (Katie) of Colberg, Tommie, Gabe and Lucas of Shenandoah; sister Taylor of Shenandoah; grandmother Linda Huntley of Hamburg; great-grandfather Jim Huntley of Stanton; uncles: Kenny Huntley of Hamburg, and Jamie (Rhonda) Huntley of Grand Island; Natalee's grandfather Charles Clark and numerous other family members, co-workers, classmates, and many friends.
Raechel and Natalee were preceded in death by Raechel’s great-grandmother Donna Lou Huntley in 1989; cousin Jason Joseph Huntley; and friends Jake Miller and Alice Peterson.
A Celebration of Life Gathering was to be held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 17, at the Rash-Gude Funeral Home in Hamburg. Friends were welcomed and encouraged to bring pictures to share. Burial was to be held at a later date at the Hamburg Cemetery.
Memorials may be directed to family or to a memorial fund established at the Great Western Bank in Hamburg in honor of Raechel and Natalee.
