June Helen (Bond) Kavanagh, age 76, of Lincoln (formerly of Syracuse), died Dec. 19, 2016, in Lincoln.
June was born June 13, 1940, in Talmage to Alonzo Earl Bond and Laura Sophie (Dierking) Bond.  She married Kenneth Lynn Kavanagh on June 6, 1958, in Syracuse.  
They lived in Tecumseh and Syracuse early in their marriage, moving to Lincoln in 1966.
They returned to Syracuse in 1987 and lived there until June 2013, when Ken passed away.
June worked various jobs during her lifetime, including the Tecumseh hospital, the café in Syracuse, Little’s Fruit Stand, and a bakery in Lincoln.  
She babysat for many families over her lifetime.  The majority of her career was devoted to cake decorating, which she did for 40 years.
June is survived by daughter Donna and significant other Ron Stow of Lincoln, son Terry and wife Kathy of Longmont, Colo., and son Kevin and wife Lisa of Lincoln.  Grandchildren include Laura Hinton and Eric Hinton of Ray City, Ga., Parker Stokke of Longmont, Colo., Teagan Kavanagh of Aurora, Colo., and Halley Kavanagh of Longmont, Colo., sister Carolyn and husband Howard Magill of Mt. Juliet, Tenn., nieces Julie Magill of Antioch, Tenn., and Melanie (Michael) Hollis and daughter Megan of Mt. Juliet, Tenn.  
June is preceded in death by her parents and husband.  
There will be a family memorial service at a later date.  Memorials are suggested to the Syracuse United Methodist Church or TOPS Club Inc.’s TOPS Heritage Society.
