As a senior Brion Carnes of Manatee High School in Florida threw and rushed for touchdowns.
Carnes rushed for 12 scores and had a long run of 59 yards. He was also deadly with his arm, throwing 24 touchdowns and just eight interceptions.
Manatee High School is the same school from which Husker legend Tommie Frazier graduated.
