The Otoe County sheriff’s office arrested a 17-year-old Syracuse juvenile Jan. 24 for suspicion of using obscenities and pushing his mother.

The dispatch center in Nebraska City received a 911 call, but the caller did not speak.

The 911 center’s mapping equipment gave deputies several addresses in the vicinity of Third Street or Locust Street in Syracuse.

Deputies knocked on several doors attempting to find the source of the call and asked residents if there was problem or if they called 911.

One woman answered affirmatively by nodding her head. A deputy noticed a male leaving from the back of the house.

Responding deputies stopped his vehicle a short distance away without incident.
