Just after 11:30 p.m., on Monday, February 20, a trooper stopped an eastbound 2002 Buick for speeding near the Lincoln Airport exit on Interstate 80. The trooper was giving consent to search the vehicle. The search led to the seizure of 25.7 lbs of marijuana. The marijuana was located in the trunk of the vehicle.
The driver of the vehicle, Jacob T. Pacion, 20, Northville, MI and a passenger in the vehicle, Ethan J. Eckhout, 20, Grand Junction, CO were each lodged in the Lancaster County Corrections on a charge of possession of marijuana with intent to deliver.
A Monday, February 20, traffic stop on I-80 near Grand Island, in Hall County led to the seizure of 6.5 lbs of marijuana. The trooper stopped the eastbound 2007 Dodge Caliber for having a white light to the rear. An NSP canine indicated the odor of marijuana coming from the rear of the vehicle. A search resulted in the seizure of marijuana from the rear cargo area of the vehicle.
A passenger in the vehicle, Ian R. Schmidbauer, 26, Milwaukee, WI was lodged in the Hall County Jail on a charge of possession of marijuana with intent to deliver.

Just after 11:00 a.m., Sunday, February 19, a trooper stopped a 2007 Toyota pickup for following to close, near the 27th Street Exit on I-80 near Lincoln. During contact with the driver, the trooper smelled the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. A probable cause search of the vehicle led to the seizure of 15.1 lbs of marijuana. The marijuana was located in a duffel bag behind the driver’s seat.
The driver and lone occupant of the pickup, Stephen L. Arnold, 63, Fairfax, CA was lodged in the Lancaster County Corrections on a charge of possession of marijuana with intent to deliver.
A license plate obstruction led to the seizure of marijuana from a vehicle Sunday, February 19, near Kearney in Buffalo County. The stop occurred just before 10:00 p.m., on eastbound I-80. Upon approaching the 2006 Subaru Legacy, the trooper noticed a jar of marijuana sitting between the legs of the passenger. A probable cause search led to the seizure of 4.8 lbs of marijuana from backseat of the car.
