The event is part of 20 workshops held annually throughout the state to promote economic opportunities, efficient resource use, environmental quality, alternative energy, effective public policy, healthy and vibrant cities and food-based coalitions.
Leaders from Nebraska City, Brownville, Auburn, Plattsmouth, Syracuse, Tecumseh, Falls City, Peru and other area cities are expected to attend.
Katie Torpy, program manager, said invited community leaders are given precedence, but anyone who would like to attend can contact her at 933-0080.
